Shortly after the release of the "Welcome Oblivion" LP in 2013, a remix contest was held, hosted by (now defunct) IndabaMusic. Contestants were given the opportunity to remix three songs from the LP: "How long?", "On the wing" and "Strings and attractors". Multitrack stems were provided:


I have not established what copyright/license the stems were distributed under.

Each song was made available in two packs: basic and advanced. For this archive.org item, both versions are included in each ZIP. All are 24/48. The ZIPs provided here were repacked from those distributed by IndabaMusic. Some notes on the Multitracks, and the repacking, are in this ETS thread:

They seem to be demo/idea tracks which are pretty neat to listen to. Example: "TR_Idea 2.01_02" in the Strings and Attractors extras is an 18 minute file that's basically Trent messing around with an idea before it resulted in the "Pitch Machine 1 Stem" track. It has lots and lots of variations of that stem; people can easily cut portions of it and utilize it for remix means.
